Immigration for skilled workers
The Skilled Workers Program is the most popular in Canada. According to the Quebec-Canada Agreement, the province of Quebec establishes its own selection criteria for those who want to permanently reside in Quebec, Canada. Quebec has the responsibility to select its own immigrant that will well adapt to the Quebec culture. As such, the application for permanent residence under the skilled worker program needs first to be presented to the Quebec authorities (Ministère de l’Immigration et des communautés culturelles du Canada) and after to Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
